1. Respect for quiet and nature
Eco by Nature sits in a green setting and borders on the Asbroekerheide quiet area. That setting is a large part of the stay, so we ask our guests to respect the quiet, the nature and each other.
- Be considerate towards other guests, neighbours and other users of the area.
- Avoid noise, during the day as much as in the evening and at night.
- Parties, events and gatherings are not allowed.
- Music, television and other sources of sound must not disturb other guests or the surroundings.
- Treat the nature, the animals and the planting with respect.
- Do not feed wild animals.
- Use only the paths, facilities and outdoor areas meant for it.
- Always follow the instructions given by Eco by Nature.
2. Use of the lodges
Our lodges are furnished with care, so that guests have a comfortable and relaxed stay in nature. We ask you to treat the lodges and everything in them with care.
- The lodges may be used for a recreational stay only.
- Only the persons the reservation was made for may use the lodge.
- The maximum number of persons for the lodge in question may not be exceeded.
- Transferring the lodge or the reservation to third parties, and subletting the lodge in whole or in part, is not allowed.
- Treat the lodge, the inventory, the furniture, the appliances and the other facilities with care.
- Move inventory, furniture or other facilities only when needed, and put them back where they were after use.
- Report damage, defects or malfunctions to Eco by Nature as soon as possible.
3. Pets
Pets are not allowed at Eco by Nature.
4. Smoking, fire and safety
The safety of our guests, the protection of the nature and the condition of the lodges come first. We therefore ask you to observe the following rules.
- Eco by Nature is a completely smoke-free park. Smoking is not allowed in the lodges or anywhere on the grounds.
- Help us keep our nature clean and leave no cigarette ends or other smoking waste in the nature, on the grounds or around the lodges.
- Open fire is allowed in the fire pit only, and only after Eco by Nature has lit the fire or given permission for it. You and the people who have access to the grounds through you remain responsible at all times for using the fire pit safely, and must follow the instructions given by Eco by Nature.
- In the fire pit you burn only the untreated wood supplied by Eco by Nature. Burning waste or other materials and using fire accelerants is not allowed.
- Always keep the fire under the supervision of an adult and do not leave the fire pit until the fire is fully out. Children may only be at the fire pit accompanied by an adult.
- In dry weather, at raised wildfire risk or in strong wind, Eco by Nature may not allow the fire pit to be used for a while. We ask you to always follow that instruction.
- The barbecue provided by Eco by Nature may be used. All other forms of fire, including fire baskets, fire bowls, candles, torches and fire equipment brought along, are not allowed.
- Shared fire pit evenings are announced on the information boards.
- Creating situations that may cause fire risk, damage or other safety risks is not allowed.
- In an emergency, always follow the instructions of the emergency services and of Eco by Nature.
- In an emergency, call the emergency services on 112 straight away. Beyond that, use the emergency number provided by Eco by Nature if support from Eco by Nature is wanted or needed.
5. Arrival, departure and QR access
Eco by Nature works without a reception. You receive all the information you need about arrival, access and departure before your stay.
- An emergency number is available for urgent situations and emergencies. That number is not meant for general questions about reservations or about using the QR code.
- The arrival and departure times are communicated to you before the stay. We ask you to keep to those times.
- Before your stay you receive a personal QR code that gives you access to your lodge. Keep your QR code safe and do not share it with third parties. The QR code may only be used by the guests the reservation was made for.
- Make sure that on arrival you have a working phone with enough battery to use the QR code.
- Report the loss or misuse of a QR code to Eco by Nature as soon as possible.

On departure we ask you to:
- leave the lodge before the stated departure time;
- leave the lodge clean and tidy for the next guests, with no waste and no personal belongings left behind;
- close the windows and doors;
- check that all personal belongings have been taken;
- pay the tourist tax before departure if it has not been paid yet. The main booker is responsible for this. Eco by Nature reserves the right to set unpaid tourist tax off against the deposit paid.
6. Sauna
The sauna is part of the Eco by Nature experience and is free of charge for guests of a lodge. We ask you to observe the following rules.
- Use of the sauna is included when you book a lodge. Each lodge can reserve one sauna slot per day.
- You reserve a sauna slot on site, on the reservation board by the sauna.
- The sauna may only be entered in swimwear. Using the sauna without swimwear is not allowed.
- Bring a towel to sit on and shower briefly before you enter the sauna.
- Leave the sauna clean and tidy for the next guest after use.
- Use of the sauna is at your own risk. If you are in any doubt about whether the sauna is advisable for your health, for instance during pregnancy or with heart or vascular complaints, speak to your doctor first.
- Children may only use the sauna accompanied by an adult.
- The quiet of the adjoining quiet area applies in and around the sauna too. Keep it quiet, so that every guest can relax undisturbed.
7. Parking and facilities
To keep the grounds quiet, safe and accessible, we ask you to observe the following rules.
- Park vehicles in the marked parking spaces only.
- Keep access roads, paths and passages clear for other guests, emergency services and maintenance.
- Charging electric vehicles is allowed at the designated charging points only. Those charging points are not available yet, expected from 2027.
- Use the facilities and installations according to the instructions of Eco by Nature.
- Treat the facilities, furniture, appliances and other installations with care.
- Leave shared facilities and the grounds tidy for other guests.
- Use of the facilities is at your own risk.
8. Sustainability and waste
Sustainability is a large part of Eco by Nature. We therefore ask our guests to be mindful of the surroundings and of the facilities available.
- Be careful with water, energy and the other facilities. Avoid unnecessary waste of water, energy and consumables.
- Switch off lighting, heating, air conditioning and other electrical appliances when they are not in use.
- Leave no litter in or around the lodges or on the grounds.
- There are containers on the grounds for packaging, organic waste, paper and residual waste. Use the waste containers provided and follow the instructions for separating waste.
- Help keep the natural surroundings clean and cared for, for other guests and future visitors.
- If waste is not cleared away or not separated according to the instructions, Eco by Nature may charge 25.00 euro in additional waste processing and cleaning costs.
